Have faith Wizards fans

Our team is so young and so shorthanded right now. It is playing hard night after night - young players are being battle tested. They are getting their minutes and gaining experience. I also know next season there won’t be back to back to back games in the schedule. This is a really tough battle ground for such a shorthanded team to develop upon.  But talk to a Washington Capital's fan sometime - it is always darkest before the dawn.  The Capital's had several really bad years- we drafted well; we played the young players - and then we started to improve. We were bad tile we were good.  We are now a good team; and we make the playoffs year after year. And we are still considered a young team with a young core. All the players in their mid-twenties.  That is the deliverable for our fans. A rebuild that works; we are in season 2 of our ownership of the team; year two of a painful but necessary rebuild.  Thank you for sticking with us - thank you for believing. I am proud of the Wizard's players who are "toughing" this one out. Keep the faith.

Praise for our fans

I credit our fans for the energy you provided to the team last night.  Thank you.  The roar from the crowd when the score of the Sabres vs. Flyer's game was flashed on the screen with 3 minutes left in the game was truly astonishing; you were loud and proud and we are all grateful!  I am proud that
