NFL Attendance Issues
Posted on July 02, 2012I always wondered why this has been an under-reported story. For five years in a row, attendance is down. Also, if wireless connectivity is the solution, I would love to get a better understanding of the technology that will be used here. To be able to provide 90,000 people with simultaneous connectivity, for only eight three-hour sessions per year will be quite a technical feat. That would be the biggest network overbuild of all time. We struggle at Verizon Center to provide connectivity to 20,000 people on 250 nights per year. THIS is a huge and expensive challenge but if anyone can do it I am sure the NFL can.
