Wizards Move on With Win Against Charlotte

Posted on March 10, 2013 by Ted Leonsis

I hear quite often that the Wizards need more and better shooters - mostly from the three point arc.

I think if you look at the stats over the last dozen games, the Wizards are ranked near the top in the NBA in three point shooting percentage. And that is without Bradley Beal in the lineup for a bunch of those games. Go figure, huh? Last night for example, the Wizards shot 10 of 18 from the three point line. See box score here.

We needed a bounce back win after a tough game against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

We beat Charlotte for our 20th win of the season. We continue to play 500 or better ball of late and we are now 5-5 in last ten games.

Another goal is to get back to a winning home record in front of our great fans, we are now 15-17 at home.

A brutal start to the season because of poor play with a shorthanded lineup with Wall and Nene out really is tough to overcome. But we are slowly moving up in the standings in terms of wins.
