That is our record for the last 10 games, partially negating a very poor start to our season.

We are now in the lead in the SE division with 42 points, and with a game in hand over the Jets. We have the same amount of points as the seventh and eighth place teams in the East as well. We are three games over a 500 pace of play.

The standings are all bunched up, and our next game - on the road in Montreal - is quite important to us. To be frank, there are only nine games left this season, so every point truly matters .

We play six of our last nine games at home. Alex Ovechkin is now tied for the lead in goals scored in the NHL with 25, and is sixth overall in points.

Our goal tender, who hadn't played in a bit - played outstanding hockey and helped us gain those important two points last night. Onward, read away here, here, here and here. Go Caps!
