Finally Over 500

Posted on April 05, 2013 by Ted Leonsis

The Caps finally broke through the 500 mark, and we are now 18-17-2. We have 38 points and we are in first place in the Southeast division.

The standings are very bunched up, we shouldn't be satisfied. We have 11 games left to play, four on the road and seven at home. Our next game is tomorrow night in Florida.

We do have two games in hand on the Jets, but there is a lot of work left to do this season.

We won a close one in a shootout last night against the Islanders. We got the needed two standings points.

Read all about it here, here, here and here.

Homage to the Pollin Family

April 05, 2013

While this weekend's events are a celebration of the 1977-78 Championship Bullets team, they are also a celebration of the ownership tenure of the Pollin family of the Capitals, the Wizards, the Mystics, the Verizon Center and US Air Arena/Capital Centre.
