Still Missing Beal From Rotation
Posted on February 06, 2013Here is an article about
the health of the Washington Wizards.
We have made much
progress on getting our players back into the lineup and now the staff has to
be astute in using our players and depth to match up against opponents. This is
a nice problem to have for us as a team.
We are still missing
rookie Bradley Beal from the lineup. This has hurt the team's flow and spacing,
as he was developing into a very dependable scorer for the team. And with John
Wall back in the lineup, he was settling into spaces as a knock down
jump shot specialist. He can also shoot the 3 ball which helps the
team space out the floor for the team's big men.
Trevor Booker continues
to have bumps and bruises and hasn’t been able to contribute much this season
as well. And Cartier Martin is also missed as he is another good shooter and
helps the team space the floor and score points. It does seem that at every game,
we have been missing pieces and teammates on the floor.
Injuries are a part of
the game, every team suffers them. The Clippers are missing key players from
their lineup and are now in a bit of a slump - it happens.
We play a big game at home tonight against the red hot New York Knicks. This is an interesting team, that isn’t shy about shooting three pointers. I read a box score the other day that they as a team attempted more than 40 three point shots in a game. And they are one of the oldest teams in the NBA. This will be a tough and competitive game.
