Ticket Pricing

Posted on February 15, 2013 by Ted Leonsis

I am not privy to Team Marketing Report's methodology, calculations and metrics when it comes to determining ticket prices.

We are transparent in our ticket pricing and mailed our plan-holders a comprehensive pricing grid with their renewal package.

If you’re interested, here is a link to our pricing and our benefits. We sell approximately 15,000 season tickets, of which about 95% was renewal business for us this year. We hold back roughly 2,000 tickets per game for partial plans, group sales and individual sale, and the remaining 1,200 or so seats are in suites.

We obtain ticket reports from the NHL, and our season-ticket holder pricing the past couple of years has been in the middle tier; we have not received a report for this season yet. The NHL collects the information and distributes it; there is no new math here.
